March 31st - Fall River Taekwon-Do was invited to visit the 1st Riverlake Cubs.  Thank you Mr. Killeen-Payne for the organization and running of the demo and the team for participating.  Also thanks to Mrs. Creighton for the help and Mr. Kerry for the photography.  See further pictures in the "photo album" under "Miscellaneous".

December 2nd - Congratulations to Mr. Darrell Johnston for winning the Student Fundraising IPod Nano.  Ticket was drawn by Daniel Kerry and Cooper McDonald. 

October 16th - The rain didn't hamper today's fundraising bottle drive, the team did very well again.  Thanks to those who donated, sorted and transported.  The winners for the largest contribution were Brooklyn and Jordan Brown and Mr. Jeff Dixon, who each win a FRTKD T-shirt.  Pictured above is the group of helpers.

September 18th - What a fantastic weekend with Kwan Jang Nim Cariati.  Starting Friday with an outstanding technical based Instructor training session and grading - congratulations to Mr. Blue 4^th Dan and Mr. Carr 6^th Dan.  Leading to Saturday's technical seminar which provided all Students and Instructors new insight and appreciation of all aspects of our fundamental movements, improving and giving explanation to our patterns and self defence/sparring.

May 13th - Congratulations to Jeff for being the closest in guessing how many beans were in the fundraising jelly bean jar.

May 10th - LeBlanc Taekwon-Do and the ICTF now have one new 1st Dan and two new 2nd Dans.  Congratulations to Kendall, Lauren and Meagan, well done.  See the "photo album" under "Miscellaneous" and Facebook for pictures.

May 8th - Thanks to all who contributed towards the "Student Fundraising" Flea Market, BBQ and Bake Sale, we did very well, what a team.  Pictures in the "photo album" under "Miscellaneous" and on Facebook.

April 30th - Mr. Stoerig again had the privilege of guest instructing in Sensei Crawford's martial arts class at Lockview High School.  We had a lot of fun, what a great bunch of students.  Thank you again Sensei Crawford and thank you Cooper for assisting.  Picture in the "photo album" under "Miscellaneous".

April 12th - Referee Course/Technical Seminar pictures are now posted in the "photo album" under "seminars" and Facebook.

April 5th - Mr. Stoerig and Mr. LeBlanc attended the Referee Course/Technical Seminar held in Toronto on Saturday April 3rd.  What a fantastic event, for Mr. LeBlanc and myself that's now two ICTF seminars we've attended that were vastly superior to any we've been part of before.  In attendance:  Grand Masters and Masters: GM A. Gabbidon, GM R. Parris, Kwan Jang Nim J. Cariati VIII Dan, Master C. Stanley VIII Dan, Master S. Creighton, Master A. Scarsellone and Master R. MacEachern.  Pictures and commentary found in the "photo album" under "seminars" and on Facebook.

March 6th - We had 7 competitors at the "Blue Martial Arts Tournament", a mixed martial arts event with representation from: Ch'ang-Hon style Taekwon-Do, Karate and Kung Fu.  Here's how we did:

January 30th - Through immediate comments and attendance by well over 100 participants from the ICTF and the CTFI/ITF, it's evident that this first invitational ICTF seminar with Master Cariati was the best and biggest Taekwon-Do seminar held in Nova Scotia recently.  Thank you Kwan Jang Nim Cariati, again we're inspired!

2009

December 7th - The ICTF has two new 1st Dans.  Mr. Stoerig had the privilege of grading two of Mr. Blue's students to first Dan.  An excellent grading, well done to both Mr. Shane Sutherland and Mr. Craig Sutherland.  See the "Miscellaneous" section in the "photo album".  

December 1st - Our little birthday celebration made "The Laker".

November 5th, Fall River Taekwon-Do's first birthday.

October 17th - Due to increased attendance on Saturdays, starting October 24th, we will now have two classes - see the "schedule" page for times.

October 5th - The latest edition of "The Laker" features a photo of our August 21st grading.  Please see the "Miscellaneous" section of the "Photo Album". 

May 5th - Mr. & Miss Stoerig had the privilege of being invited as "guest instructors" by Sensei Crawford in his martial arts class at Lockview High School - (see the "photo album" under "Miscellaneous").

May 2nd - A successful tournament again for Mr. Richard Killeen-Payne - first in patterns and third in sparring (see the "photo album").  A special thanks goes out to those who came out to cheer Richard on and who brought snacks for the long day.

April 11th - "Happy Birthday Taekwon-Do", 54 years old, April 11, 1955.

February 18th - What's the dragon on our crest/logo?  It represents the dragon in Miller Lake.

2008
