"LeBlanc Taekwon-Do Ch'ang-Hon Challenge"

A big pat on the back and well done to all who competed at the “LeBlanc Taekwon-Do Ch’ang-Hon Challenge” today, everyone was terrific.  And how about that cheering section…..wow.  Below is how we did: 

Andrea Creighton – bronze in patterns,

Harold Davis – gold in patterns, gold in sparring,

Marissa Fong – gold in patterns, bronze in sparring,

Mackenzie Johnston – bronze in patterns, bronze in sparring,

Daniel Kerry – gold in patterns, bronze in sparring,

Lexi Kerry – bronze in patterns,

Branko Knezevic – gold in patterns, would have been gold in sparring.

Savanna MacLennan – silver in patterns, silver in sparring,

Evan Mauger – bronze in sparring, bronze in high kick,

Liam Mauger – silver in patterns,

Emma Mooring – silver in patterns,

Sara Murphy – gold in sparring,

Gregory Shannon – excellent showing in patterns,

Alex Townshend – bronze in patterns, bronze in sparring,

Alex Tucker – bronze in patterns,

Ethan Watson – bronze in sparring,

Corbin Williams – bronze in patterns, bronze in sparring,

Parker Williams – silver in patterns, gold in sparring,

Tracey Williams – silver in patterns,

All totalled we achieved:  7 gold, 6 silver, 14 bronze…..fantastic.

It was great day of making new friends, seeing old ones and celebrating Fall River Taekwon-Do's third birthday.  Mr. LeBlanc and the gang at LBTKD did an outstanding job in all aspects of the event.  Sir, you’ve set a new standard, thank you.

2011 ICTF World Cup - Toronto

Congratulations to all of the gang at Fall River Taekwon-Do.  To simply take on the challenge of competing at such a high level event proved you all winners.  Here are the results:

Blaine Blackie – Senior men’s senior belt sparring – GOLD,

Errison Blackie – 15 to 17 senior belt patterns – BRONZE,

2011 Nova Scotia ICTF Taekwon-Do Provincial Championships

Fall River Taekwon-Do did very well today at the "2011 Nova Scotia ICTF Taekwon-Do Provincial Championships".  The medals - 12 Gold, 10 Silver and 5 Bronze.  What a great team and thank you to the new Umpires/Referees for their efforts.

LeBlanc Taekwon-Do "Ch'ang-Hon Challenge"

A great time was had by all at the LeBlanc Taekwon-Do "Ch'ang-Hon Challenge" today.  Fall River Taekwon-Do performed extremely well earning 6 Gold, 5 Silver and 10 Bronze.  Participating were:  Brian Chapman, Andrea Creighton, Harold Davis, Dan Doyle, Mackenzie Johnston, Maxwell MacLennan, Savanna MacLennan, Taryn Reid, Alex Townshend, Alex Wildy, Paul Wildy, Corbin Williams, Parker Williams (missing from above medals photo:  Dan Doyle and Mackenzie Johnston).  Thank you also to the great cheering section made up of family and friends.  And thank you Mr. LeBlanc and LeBlanc Taekwon-Do for hosting such an outstanding event.
